Waynesville’s Christmas in the Village celebrates the season on December 5th, 6th, & 7th, 2025. Experience small town charm as historic downtown Waynesville transforms into an old-time quaint shopping district...just like a scene taken out of a Hallmark movie.
Waynesville’s Christmas in the Village features over 1300 luminaries that line Main Street Friday and Saturday evening, strolling characters, and of course, visits with Santa, Santa also arrives in a very unique way on a firetruck! You will hear the sounds of the holidays from our heated entertainment tent and feel the festive spirit fill your soul! On Sunday, wear your Ugly Sweater for photo ops and a festive hot cocoa and cookie walk!
During Waynesville’s Christmas in the Village, you can browse over 40 specialty shops and dining experiences that will take you back in time. There are plenty of Waynesville locally owned and operated restaurants to relax and enjoy a meal or a specialty treat! Visitors can browse and shop our collection of antique shops, galleries, specialty shops, restaurants, and hand-made furniture stores that make Waynesville, Ohio unique! The Waynesville shops welcome their visitors to discover the latest trends in holiday decorating and unique gifts for those on your holiday gift buying list.
Waynesville’s Christmas in the Village promises to be an experience to remember thanks to our many sponsors!!! Stores open at 11:00am on Friday for early shopping with extended hours all weekend.

Santa Hours: Friday 6-9pm, Saturday 1-4pm and 5-8pm (arrival by fire truck Friday 6pm and Saturday 1pm) - Location: TBD
Heated entertainment tent: Friday and Saturday entertainment, with children's activities on Saturday afternoon
Strolling characters and entertainment Friday and Saturday
Sunday: Come and enjoy the festive atmosphere while you finish up those shopping lists!

The Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Waynesville HOMETOWN Expo and 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, March 28th, 2026.
Date: Saturday, March 28th, 2026

Where: Waynesville Junior High School, 723 Dayton Rd., Waynesville, OH 45068

The event will showcase Waynesville area businesses and help build relationships with our community. There will be raffles and prizes at each booth along with giveaways!
Each exhibitor must provide a door prize with a value of $25 or greater. You will also need to provide supplies for your raffle including: entry forms, pens, and a container to collect the entries. Exhibitor draws a winner and contacts them during or after the event. Entry forms can be used as leads following the event. Please note: no coupons or discounts permitted as a door prize.
